Abstract

The tremendous development in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) is impacting all areas of scientific research, especially applied sciences. It has connected disciplines, leaving no field of science untouched in one way or another. Chemistry has been particularly affected, with AI permeating all areas of chemistry—organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, and biological—in addition to linking chemistry research with other sciences. AI tools have been used extensively in recent years, especially the last decade, to find solutions, discover or predict the outcomes of reactions, develop pharmaceuticals, conduct chemical synthesis, and in materials science. They offer a more effective alternative to traditional methods. It seems we are witnessing significant and clear progress in scientific research, industry, and applied fields, reflecting the results and analysis of the data we provide as fuel for AI algorithms. In this research study, we present the smart face of chemistry specializations, or in other words, we highlighted the advancements in chemistry fields supported by modern smart tools and methods.
